REVIEW
Sequel to its release in 2004 which was India’s first adult comedy, Grand Masti has another time united three hunks of Bollywood Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh back in full swing. This season, the fun and adventure gets livelier and bigger in atypical ‘filmy’ style.
Despite several speculations, one is still wondering if the makers have been able to retain the same respect for delivering the adult comedy revolution in Indian cinema.
Indra Kumar ever since Masti has delivered several comic doses to the viewers such as Pyare Mohan, Dhamaal, Double Dhamaal which were much appreciated for the fun-loving audience. The director has certainly raised the hopes amongst people with his bold and loud promos which promote the ‘sex-craving’ men.
The story revolves around three married men Vivek as meet, Aftab as Prem and Riteish as Amar who intend to have their college reunion six years later to their graduation. The three as expected gets trapped in danger while their fun spree in Shree Lalchand University of Technology and Science (SLUTS).
The decision of yet another uniting comes as a result of their wives who go about playing out the roles they must at home. The three men then go around seeking sex on the campus with three women suggestively named Rose, Mary and Marlow. What else can you expect from the movie and their suggestive names if not controversy or an adult comedy which is most preferred by the people in today’s time.
If you enjoy the ‘A’ listed comedy and want to laugh your lungs out on a comedy which is not so funny for the ‘reserved class’, the movie is a hit for you. - newsx
